Blue Cat Brew Pub Newsletter April - June 2005 Babble,
Babble, babble
April 1, 2005 Hey! Has it been a year already? Must be time for another Quarterly newsletter. Okay, okay, so we're a little slow in the update department. Give us a break. We've been busy. First of all, a GREAT BIG THANK YOU for voting us Best Brew Pub and Best Bar Food in the Q.C.. We wouldn't be here if it weren't for you!! Second, look at us, look at us. We got a makeover! New lights, new awning ( yeah, we finally got that corner fixed ) and a new paint job, inside and out. Looking good. Of course, Brewer Dan is still claiming that he's going to get started on the back lot this year. Let's just wait and see what happens. Some of you may have noticed that we've changed the date of our monthly Beer Dinner. Looks like the 3rd Thursday of the month is something to plan for. Chef Joel has all sorts of culinary delights planned for us. The kitchen has also added a special separate page to the menu, featuring four new dinners. These dinners will change periodically, adding even more character to an already diverse selection. Dan & Bernie have been busy little Umpa Lumpas. Upcoming brews include Springfest Maibock, Audit Amber Ale, the ever popular Corriander & Orange, Tucks' Tenacious Trippel, Whistlers' Pils and Guatemalan Coffee Stout. So what new brews do they have planned? How about an Imperial Pale Ale. Same golden ale but with a ton more hops. Don't worry about it being too bitter. There will be a ton more malt to balance it, creating a full bodied ale with strong hop character. Once again, thank you for sticking with us for all of these years. Hopefully, we'll start updating this sight on a regular basis. As always, we welcome any comments and feedback you have about our business and any suggestions on how we can improve on what we do. Just drop a line to bluecatbrew@bluecatbrewpub.com or fill out a comment card the next time you stop in. Our best wishes go out to you and yours for 2005! Cheers!
