Participation and or attendance at the Celtic Highland Games of the Quad Cities constitutes authorization to use and reproduce any and all photographs, negative or positive proofs which are taken the day of the games by the Celtic Highland Games of the Quad Cities. All negatives and positives together with the prints shall constitute solely and completely the property of the Celtic Highland Games of the Quad Cities.


Ceilidh

6 - 10 pm at the Starlight Ballroom

at the Mississippi Valley Fairgrounds

ADMISSION IS FREE with entrance to the HIGHLAND GAMES

The Ceilidh of the First Annual Celtic Highland Games of the Quad Cities featured Paddy's Racket,
with
David James on hammered dulcimer and fiddle,
Kim Hoffman
on keyboard, bodhran and tin whistle, and
Rick Willy
on fiddle.

James is the 1986 National Hammered Dulcimer Champion and the first American to win a solo All-Ireland Championship in 1989.

Hoffman is an award winning tin whistler, bodhran player and traditional vocalist as well as a full time artist and museum curator.
Hoffman and James are from Southbend, Indiana while Willy hails from southwestern Michigan.

Coinciding On the Outdoor Stage is the Progressive Rock of "Listen" from 7 - 10 PM
