JOdean - Bartender Nicknames: Jo, Vampire I've been here for: 9 years, 5 months Favorite part of job: The compatibility and comfort level between staff, managers, and owners. The familiar faces who are our regulars (usually 80% of our clientele at any given time are regulars). Oh, and did I mention the tips?!?! Least favorite part of job: The stairs...half a flight to the non-smoking section, half a flight to the kitchen, a flight to the upstairs pub, a flight to the basement. Who needs a Stairmaster? Other occupations, interests, hobbies, fetishes...: Movies, gardening, and taking the furry child to the park. Favorite phrase: "To steal the ideas from one is plaigerism. To steal the ideas from many is research." (An M.A. in Art History has given me years of "research" experience.) Words to live by: Tip well and tip often. If I'm bartending, you should order a: "Gasoline" Margarita on the rocks (a.k.a. Grande Gold Margarita). When I'm on the other side of the bar, I'm usually drinking: Coriander & Orange Ale.
Nicknames: Hungry Jack, Jack A** I've been here for: Jack actually left in Aug. 2002 to teach English in Spain. But we miss him and his answers were too entertaining to delete. Favorite part of job: Pulling pranks on my coworkers involving old lemons. Entertaining the slightly inebriated, because they tend to laugh at my jokes (or me). Pigging out on Martha's food. Catching various objects tossed up to me (over the railing) from the downstairs bar - it's fun for some reason. Bob's really good at it. Least favorite part of job: Finding pickles for a Bloody Mary. Answering the question, "Do you have High Life in a can?" Explaining the concepts of: bar time, "you're too drunk to have another," and "please don't shove pretzels into the pockets of the pool table." Other occupations, interests, hobbies, fetishes...: Creative writing, baseball (of course), any other sport that involves a score by one team or the other at least every five minutes, hanging out with / bartending for my friends from TGIFridays. Favorite phrase: "Just one more and then I really am outta here." Words to live by: "Everything in moderation." If I'm bartending, you should order a: home-brewed beer. It's really the best drink we serve. When I'm on the other side of the bar, I'm usually drinking: an Olde English Ale - not to be confused with "Old English!"

Other occupations, interests, hobbies, fetishes...: I'm going back to school this fall. I enjoy fishing, camping, time with family and a good nap. I have a supermodel fetish...duh. Favorite phrase: "Let it be." ~ The Beatles Words to live by: "I won't be taken, I won't be insulted, and I won't be laid a hand on. I don't do these things to people and I expect the same from them." ~ John Wayne If I'm bartending, you should order a: beer if I'm busy, a "surprise" if I'm not.
